The 4th Tank Corps was ordered to attack towards Gorshechnoe in conjunction with the 24th and 17th Tank Corps on June 30th. The Soviets hoped to smash the Wehrmacht panzers with a mailed fist. Unfortunately, the two brigades of the Soviet 17th Tank Corps had been pushed back and the 24th had failed to arrive when the 4th Tank Corps met up with the 24th Panzer Division.
Objectives: Your company will advance to the west, destroying all enemy contacted. Enemy presence is estimated to consist of at minimum one panzer company supported by a platoon of panzergrenadiers. Your platoon must move to and secure the bridge located west and south of you. The road will lead directly to the bridge, so follow it.
